hi. i have problem with all my clients preview on linkedin. either the meta title or description is missing otherwise the picture.

i have filled the social snippet with both picture and title but still not shown on linkedin. facebook is good and other social sharing, but not linkedin.. do you know why?

the issues is on theese 3 sites/clents:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

Please note that LinkedIn prioritizes the oEmbed code instead of the OpenGraph meta tags, that’s why your OpenGraph is not being used when sharing.

For a workaround, you can add this in the last line of your active theme’s functions.php file, and this will remove links on your site:
```
remove_action( 'wp_head', 'wp_oembed_add_discovery_links', 10 );
```
Please do take a complete backup of your website before applying any filter on your site.

Once done, clear your website’s cache and check again using the inspector tool.

and what exatly am i supposed to add? there?

i want to set an image with a nice titel.. thats my goal here.

and where in the functions file should it be?

The functions.php file is located in your theme’s root directory and if you wish to create a separate file, you can create it in the same directory. You can then add the code my colleague presented.
