    Hi there

    I’ve tried out to understand how the link counter works and have a hard time to understand the difference between Internal links and Incoming links. According to your description for me it sounds the same:

    Internal Links: Internal links are links that go from one page on a domain to a different page on the same domain.

    Incoming Links: Incoming links are the links pointing to the current post from other posts/pages on the same website.

    Could you pleas explain the difference?

    Thank you for reaching out and sorry about the confusion. I’m happy to clarify this for you.

    Internal links are links on a post or page that lead to other posts or pages on the same website. Incoming links are links from other posts on the same website that point to that specific post.

    So for example you have a blog post “Hello world” and in the article, you linked to 3 others of your articles, “Hello world” is said to have 3 internal links. But if you 5 different articles that are linking to “Hello world”, “Hello world” is said to have 5 incoming links.
