  • Hello,

I apologize for the issue you are facing with your website link appearing twice on WordPress. To address this problem, you need to ensure that there are no duplicate URLs or content causing this issue.

One common reason for duplicate content issues is having multiple pages with the same or similar content. This can lead to penalties from search engines like Google. To avoid this, you should check for duplicate content and use canonical tags to specify the original page that should be ranked.

Rank Math SEO plugin provides an easy way to set canonical URLs to avoid duplicate content problems. You can follow the steps outlined in this guide on how to change the canonical URL using Rank Math.

If you suspect that the duplicate link issue is related to incorrect URL redirections, you can also check and edit your website’s .htaccess file using Rank Math. Here is a guide on how to edit the .htaccess file in Rank Math.

Please review these resources and make the necessary adjustments to resolve the duplicate link problem on your WordPress website. If you need further assistance, feel free to provide more details or reply to this ticket.

Thank you for reaching out with your concern.

Closing Note: Remember, ensuring unique and relevant content on your website is crucial to maintain a good standing with search engines and provide a better user experience.

    Hello,

Those URLs seem to be generated from bots since it’s adding your domain at the end of the URLs.

You should use the URL inspection tool of your GSC account to inspect those URLs and check the referring page where they are coming from.

Once you know their referring page, you can remove or update the URL so Google won’t discover those kinds of URLs.

    Hope that helps.

I have more than 8000 articles that repeat twice and give me a 404 error and I am redirected to the home page.

For this reason, you have been redirected to the home page
    https://biggbuz.com/asmae-lmnawar-akhteet/biggbuz.com

If possible, I would like to know the reason for this repetition in the link

As for what you said, I did not understand it well

    Hello,

If you see your homepage URL in the 404 Monitor, it means that some bots are trying to access the URL just like you have shared: https://yourdomain.com/yourdomain.com

This is because all of the 404 errors are relative to the homepage, so you can safely ignore those and go about your day.

If the error was on your homepage, you would see only a forward slash in the log /

Moreover, if you are seeing random 404s that you know for a fact are incorrect – it is likely generated by a bot and can be safely ignored. You could also use a service like Cloudflare to block out access to bots so they do not use up your server resources.
