last modified date ain’t being updated in site map.
is there any way i could updates last modified date of whole sitemap
can’t i just regenerate sitemap
actually i google search console is previewing old results.
i had removed cache and submitted my sitemap again but i think google ain’t reading it as last modified ain’t changed.will turning off lastmodified in sitemap would force google to re crawl whole site
or i’ll need to remove cache again and submit my sitemap again.
as google live preview is displaying updated information but the page needs to re crawled but last modified date is getting in way

It is likely your sitemap is being cached on your site. If you are using a caching plugin, could you please add your sitemap URLs to be excluded from caching. Then clear your cache, resave your permalinks and sitemap settings.
If the sitemap is still not updating after that, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
