Please clear the Rank Math Transients and then try adding Keywords.
To do so, head over to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > Remove Rank Math Transients:
Please note that some options are only available in Advanced Mode.
Also, clear the website and browser cache.

I cleared the Transients and the person who had the issue cleared the browsers cache and tried on incognito, but the issue still remained.

I was able to replicate the issue, and I noticed your website is blocking access to a file, leading to a 403 error. However, I have noticed that the user account Doesn’t have access to Rank Math. Please kindly give the proper permission to the user account and check whether you can update the metadata or not?

Hi there, it is correct that when you are logged in as admin, that it works. But I wonder what access rights are needed to get rank math working correct for other roles than admin.

I already have a role manager, and have all the rank math access rights, accept Role Manager and Redirection assigned to the specific user.
The user normally can create, edit, delete posts/pages.
But can you answer my questions:
What rights are needed to fill in the keywords?
And what file is the website trying to access, maybe I can check that?

– On-Page Analysis
– On-Page General Settings
– On-Page Advanced Settings
– On-Page Schema Settings
– On-Page Social Settings

The user already has those rights. But unless the user has an admin role, the keywords are not saving.
So something is wrong.

If you are using a Firewall, then there are chances that it will prevent saving the data. Check if Rank Math is being blocked by your firewall and if it is the case, whitelist Rank Math and its files.

/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateRedirection
Since you are using Wordfence, you can whitelist the file using WordFence in Learning Mode. These instructions are for WordFence but will likely work on any firewall plugin/software.
