Hello, I recently made a change on cloudflare and since then I am not seeing any of my keywords appearing in rannkmath for wedistry.com. Any suggestions would be appreciated for anything that I need to set up differently.

    Thank you,
    Aaron

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

If your focus keywords are not saving, please check if you have any firewall as there are chances that it will prevent saving the data.

Please check this link for more information and troubleshooting steps:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/meta-data-not-saving/

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

Hello, I’m not aware of any firewall that would prevent these keywords from appearing or visibility. Is there any way that I could get help with this issue in terms of what changed and why they are no longer appearing?

    Hello,

Just to clarify, are you talking about the keywords in the Analytics section of Rank Math?

If that’s the case, let’s run through some troubleshooting steps:

    1. Please make sure that you are running the latest version of the plugin: https://rankmath.com/changelog/

In case you are running an older version, please update.

    2. After checking that let’s head over to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and make sure that all the appropriate options are selected. Including the “Install Analytics Code” if you are not adding that via another plugin.

    3. If everything is correct on that page let’s try to import some fresh data from Google. To do that, please follow this tutorial: https://rankmath.com/kb/delete-old-analytics-data/

Let us know if after following these troubleshoot steps you still have the analytics issue.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you, this is very helpful I completed step #4, the manual fetching of google data. How long should I expect the keywords to take to show up in my view before trying other methods? The only thing I didn’t do was use rankmath to install the analytics code because I believe my developer already did this using another method.

    Thanks,
    Aaron

    Hello,

It takes 17 minutes for the data to be fetched if the chosen range is 90 days. Increasing the number of data retention days will increase the time it takes to fetch. Please wait for the data fetch to complete.

If the data is not fetched, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I tried manually fetching the data on your site but the stats aren’t getting fetched. Please navigate to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and disconnect & reconnect your Google account. Try fetching the data again after reconnecting your Google account.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to your update.

Thank you, I have disconnected and re-connected.

    Hello,

The stats have now started to appear in the Analytics dashboard:

Please check and let us know if you need any other assistance.

    Thanks.

And I have manually fetched new data.

    Hello,

Yes, the stats are now available in your Analytics dashboard.

Can you please confirm if you need any further assistance with this or we can close this ticket?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Great, thanks so much!

I see them in my dashboard, is there a reason they are not showing in the analytics tab?

    Hello,

It could be that your Scheduled Action (Cron Job) for your Analytics is not firing properly. Manually triggering the Action usually resolves this issue.

Also, renewing the Google auth by reconnecting your Google service in Rank Math might have helped you fix the issue.

Due to the nature of the auth tokens and their expiration dates sometimes people need to reconnect the account to Google Services because the auth token coming from Google has expired.

We understand this might not be ideal and we already alerted the dev team about this situation but we are still waiting on the clarification to know if this would be possible in the future to generate auto-renewal tokens for this sort of API call.

With all that said, please don’t hesitate to let us know if the issue happens again.

    Looking forward to helping you.
