    Rank Math free

I wanted to see what keywords my site lists in the top 100 google rankings for. I looked at the keyword analytics in the rankmath plugin and no keywords are showing at all. This cant be right because ahrefs is showing keywords: No good ones to be honest but it is showing keywords. So is there anything wrong with the setup of my account?
    Thanks and kind regards

    Andrew

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support. We’re happy to help you with your query.

There could be a number of reasons why you might not be seeing any keywords in the Rank Math analytics dashboard. Here are some possible causes and solutions:

    • You have not connected your Google Search Console account to Rank Math. To do this, you need to go to Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and click the Connect Google Services button. Then follow the steps to authorize Rank Math to access your Google account and select the correct property for your website.
    • You have recently connected your Google Search Console account to Rank Math and the data has not been fetched yet. Rank Math uses the Action Scheduler by WooCommerce to fetch the analytics data and makes use of the WP-Cron. It may take some time for the data to appear in the dashboard, depending on your site’s traffic and server configuration. You can also manually fetch the data by clicking the Update Data Manually button in Rank Math > Analytics > Overview.
    • You have a mismatch between your site URL and your Google Search Console property. For example, if your site URL is https://example.com but your Google Search Console property is http://example.com or https://www.example.com, then the data will not match. You need to make sure that your site URL and your Google Search Console property are exactly the same, including the protocol (http or https) and the subdomain (www or non-www).
    • You have a problem with your WP-Cron or your web hosting killing off long-running processes. WP-Cron is a system that WordPress uses to schedule tasks at periodic intervals, such as fetching analytics data from Google. If your WP-Cron is not working properly or your web hosting is terminating long-running processes, then the data may not be fetched or updated correctly. You can check if your WP-Cron is working by installing a plugin like WP Crontrol and viewing the scheduled tasks in Tools > Cron Events. You can also contact your web hosting provider and ask them to whitelist our WP-Cron process or increase your PHP execution time limit.
    • Lastly, you could also try reconnecting to Google and re-fetching your data from Google. Here’s how to do that: https://rankmath.com/kb/analytics-issues/#expired-google-oauth-token

We hope this helps you troubleshoot the issue and see the keywords in the Rank Math analytics dashboard. If you have any further questions or issues, please let us know and we’ll be glad to assist you.

Thank you for choosing Rank Math!
