keyword not saving

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, my SEO keywords do not seem to be saving.

    Within the post-editing, the keyword registers and generates the correct ‘rankmath’ score.

    However, after updating/publishing the post and returning to the post screen, the scores and keywords do not save.

    Sometimes, the keyword saves but the score is incorrect.

    I have checked for plugin issues but that does not seem to be the problem.

    Our IT department have had a look and could not find an easy fix, so I’m wondering if I give access to the account if someone could take a look.

    Your website log-in is using 2FA which is preventing us from access the backend.

    I was able to replicate the issue and I noticed your website is blocking access to a file which leads to a 403 error. It may have to do with your security plugin or server-related security software. https://rankmath.com/kb/meta-data-not-saving/#num-4-blocked-access-to-the-file

    The file: /wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta?_locale=user

    Please see the screenshot in the Sensitive Data section.

    Could you please contact your hosting provider and see if they are able to whitelist this file if possible?

    Sorry, I am the go-between for you guys and the IT department for the company. They inform me that they have tried to whitelist the file. They also checked if it was a WordFence issue, and disabled the firewall.

    Unfortunately, the issue is still not resolved.

    Please advise on possible next steps.

    We would like to further debug this issue over your admin dashboard but it seems the access you shared is so limited at the moment. Could you please elevate the access to the admin level so we can access some of the settings pages like the plugin list?
