Keyword inspection

    Hi Rank Math team!

    Question:
I see that RankMath wants the Keyword to appear exactly in the title or H1 to rank high.
For instance, “plumber Toronto” is the keyword since most people search it that way, but in my title, I write “plumber in Toronto” and RankMath does not recognize it.
Have used Yoast in the past I know they have a different policy about this.
Please explain why you find it important to have the very exact keyword.
    Thank you.
    EMM

    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us!

I am sorry but currently, Rank math only recognizes keywords if they are used exactly as defined. Our dev team is working on improving this feature. The keywords and tests are mainly for your reference and you may choose to ignore them if they don’t apply in your case. The score and tests don’t affect your page ranking.

For more details regarding updates, you can keep an eye on our changelog: https://rankmath.com/changelog/

    Thanks!

    Thanks for your reply.
I find it extremely helpful to get an idea of the score.
Especially checking the density of the keyword which could have a negative effect.
I would appreciate an update on this future ASAP.

    Thank you!!!
