Keyword deleted

  • Hello there,

    I have been using Rankmath for some time now and even though I am pretty happy with what it does I keep running into some problems of which the most troubling one would be that there is always some user for whom the keyword gets deleted on Saving Draft and/or Publishing a WordPress blogpost.

    Currently it is working fine for myself (Admin account, but it stopped working well for an Editor after the upgrade to 1.0.80 Now this has happened before and for myself it also disappeared after a while or it works at second attempt to publish.

    What could the issue be (if on our side)
    We have switched Auto-Update off for now.

    We deeply apologize.

    Our team is distributed around the world and we use dynamic IPs, so even if you whitelist one particular IP now when we get back to the ticket our IP might already have changed.

    If you are using a geo-blocking, please temporarily unblock the country Portugal, India and the Philippines.

    We do not use Geo-Blocking at all and no other IP’s got blocked indicating that you or any of your colleagues should be able to login.

    The route used to update the metadata is still blocked for that user role on your website and it’s being blocked by Wordfence.

    You need to whitelist the plugin for all user roles to make sure it works correctly: https://rankmath.com/kb/whitelist-rank-math-in-wordfence/

    We have those settings, but it seems they are for Admin only.
    Does this mean we need to login as each user to set this for each user seperate?
    I assume there should be a way to make it for all users. (?_locale=user)

    I have tried playing with the ?_locale=user setting, but no matter what I do The rule is set for Admin and not for Rank Math (as in your example) or all users.

    I would appreciate some answer on how to do this (preferable with making every user having to do it in person as we have disabled many access for them)

    It has been like 3 weeks now that we try to solve this.

    You should get in touch with the Wordfence support and ask how you can whitelist the routes that are working correctly for the admin to all other user roles.
