key words not saving

    I did email this query earlier in the week – sorry for repeating the query…

    My problem is that on certain blog creations the RM plug-in does not appear to save my keywords against the draft. I have managed to get them to save on some articles but not all – I wondered if there was a quick fix for this and if there are any steps I should be taking. I have followed the instructions from the Knowledge Base but still, the problem remains.

    I find this odd as some blog posts retain the keywords but others won’t, I have asked my colleagues to check also but they do not encounter this problem.

    Any advice would be greatly received.

    Please check if you are using a Firewall, as it may prevent saving the changes.

    If you are using a Firewall, please whitelist this route:
    /wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta

    Whitelisting the route should fix the issue.

    If the issue persists, please take a backup of your .htaccess file and replace it with the default WordPress .htaccess file. You can get the file here: https://wordpress.org/support/article/htaccess/

    Apologies for the delay in acknowledging your reply.

    Thanks for taking the time to advise – unfortunately, both steps haven’t changed the outcome…

    Other posts I have created all seem perfectly fine and can save the keywords – I can only assume it must be something within the post itself perhaps?

    If it is only happening on one post, then assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.
