HI Team, I am trying to build a schema for my new post type. I have one field called “descripcion” (also tried with anohter metafield) and by using %customfield(descripcion)% I get nothing.

I have all SEO options activcated in my jetengine and my templates show that information right.

What else should be done in order to make this work?

    Note: first time trying it.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the JetEngine MetaField not rendering in Rank Math Schema. It sounds like you’ve already taken some important steps by ensuring that all SEO options are activated in JetEngine and that your templates are displaying the information correctly.

To troubleshoot this issue further, please ensure the following:

    1. Meta Field Type: Confirm that the field type for "descripcion" is supported by Rank Math. Currently, JetEngine supports only Text, Textarea, WYSIWYG, and Repeater field types to be parsed by Rank Math.
    2. Correct Syntax: Double-check that you are using the correct syntax for the custom field in your schema settings. It should be exactly as you mentioned: %customfield(descripcion)%.
    3. Schema Settings: Make sure that the Schema settings for the post type where you are trying to use this field are correctly configured. You can refer to the Schema settings guide for more details.
    4. Caching Issues: Sometimes caching plugins can interfere with how data is rendered. If you have any caching plugins active, try clearing the cache and see if that resolves the issue.

If you’ve checked all of these and it still doesn’t work, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern, and we look forward to helping you resolve it!

I have checked all the things it was mentioned

    1) Field “descripcion” exits and is of type is WYSIWYG
    2) Syntaxis is correct
    3) Settings are correct
    4) cleared cache few times

All seems to be fine on my end

    Hello,

If you’re using JetEngine, the %customfield% may not work as expected, so you’ll have to create a custom variable to use it in the schema.

Here’s a guide you can follow:

    Looking forward to helping you.
