Hi there,

my website has been hacked and fallen victim of the Japanese Spam Hack (https://developers.google.com/web/fundamentals/security/hacked/fixing_the_japanese_keyword_hack?hl=en).

Unfortunately more than 80K URLs have been injected and now are listed in the Search Console under “Indexed, not submitted in sitemap”.

DO you have an idea how to get them out of the index? A new clean sitemap is submitted.
All the hacked files have been deleted and the wordpress system has been built from scratch.

Thank you for contacting us.

Assuming you’re already following the steps mentioned in the guide you shared, as you’ve also deleted the hacked contents and resubmitted the sitemap, I suggest you fully clear your website and server cache.

Further, you would just need to give Google time to crawl your website de-index the hacked contents from the website’s search results.

Please note that this process may take time from a few days to weeks or even months.
