Please help!! My sitemap seems to have been hacked. https://bailies.co.uk/sitemap_index.xml
These aren’t pages on my site. I have deleted your plugin and readded it. I have added the line in the htaccess to prevent this from caching. I have turned off caching plugins. I have followed your instructions to regenerate the sitemaps. I cannot find these sitemaps on my site via FTP
I’m at my wits end!

Hello,
Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
I can’t seem to find Japanese links inside your sitemaps files. please try to use a different web browser its most probably a cache issue if you do not see the latest data inside your web page?
Screenshot for your reference:

My In Private browser shows this – https://snipboard.io/ajP1p0.jpg
As you can see there is a huge list of other sitemaps that are nothing to do with my site. Also if you google “site:bailies.co.uk” the top link is in Japanese.
Thank you for the prompt reply!

Hi, my sitemap has gone wrong again – it’s no longer the rank math one! Help!
Hello,
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
Could you please also share your WordPress admin so we can further check this issue?
Also, I tried loading the non-cached version of your sitemap it reveals the correct sitemap page. https://i.rankmath.com/uU7jev
Please ensure that your website is not heavily cached. You may ask your hosting provider if you have a server-level caching app like Cloudflare.
Looking forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
I made a couple of troubleshooting. I tried using this plugin to disabled all plugins and enable only Rank Math. The issue is still there after doing so. https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/
I also checked your FTP and looked for any static sitemap file and I wasn’t able to find any.
This tells us that a heavy caching on your website is happening as I mentioned in my previous reply. Could you please confirm if you have contacted your hosting provider for this?
We are looking forward to helping you.
This was the response from my host:
Thanks for your patience. He informed not able to see any caching enabled so that better to regenerate the sitemap and update it in robots.txt file
Hello,
If your sitemap is not cached and the sitemap file is newly generated, Please scan your website again for any potentially malicious code inside your website. If possible, download the fresh copy of WordPress and replace file the files and remove any unwanted plugin/theme. You can also ask your hosting provider for scanning if possible.
Do let us know how that goes. Thank you.
I did following a hack last week.
