I can check that the updateMeta route is returning a 404 error on your site. That is the route that we use to save the metadata.

i did what was requested and deleted the previous bk file and created from scrath the htacess.php as you said. Still nothing.

I was able to replicate the issue even with the default .htaccess.

It seems that there’s some issue with the network setup because switching the permalink structure to plain makes it so the routes are loaded properly.
When you change the permalink structure to other than plain, in the backend WordPress is creating redirections for those URLs and this might be one of the issues if those redirections are somehow causing the REST routes to not load properly, especially the POST routes used to update data.
Please get in touch with your hosting provider and see if they can help solve this issue with the REST routes.
