    Hello Bhanu,
    We have very annoying problems on our website and I hope you can help me.
    Since we switched from Yoast SEO to RankMath, we are constantly confronted with errors that Google Search Console signals on our website. Our hosting provider refers us to Divi Theme Support, Divi Theme Support says it’s not their fault and our web designer refers us to RankMath.

    The problems are:
    1. Google Search Console report: found a video, no video indexed (we created a video sitemap in RankMath). Google Search Console reports 103 errors in this sitemap).

    2. Google Search Console reports 107 Server Errors (5xx), due to the presence of URLs, such as https://www.aabeve.nl/grieks-vertaalbureau/?customize_changeset_uuid=893275e5-6a0b-442b-91e1-c6c9e5d27bf7&customize_autosaved=on
    The addition ?customize_changeset_uuid=893275e5-6a0b-442b-91e1-c6c9e5d27bf7&customize_autosaved=on is the same for all 107 urls.

    Do you have any idea what causes these errors?

    1. I’ve checked your video sitemap, and there are missing thumbnails that could cause this issue.

    2. I’ve tried finding the function on your site, but could not find the link you have shared to be generated as I’m getting a WordPress error page. Could you please confirm if you’re using those links or their purpose?

    If they are not important on your site or non-existent, then you can redirect them using the redirections feature of Rank Math by using the “Contains” or “End with” type.

    Thank you for your reply.
    For problem 1 I followed your advice and have requested a new validation by Google.

    The links that I supplied in problem 2 are indeed not working. The normal link is https://www.aabeve.nl/grieks-vertaalbureau/ and that is working.
    However Google is reporting that almost all the pages on our website have the very strange addition ?customize_changeset_uuid=893275e5-6a0b-442b-91e1-c6c9e5d27bf7&customize_autosaved=on. We can’t find them anywhere on our website, so the must be somewhere a setting that is generating this.

    The strange URL customize_changeset_uuid=893275e5-6a0b-442b-91e1-c6c9e5d27bf7&customize_autosaved=on you see can happen sometimes that you are trying to customize your website from the WordPress live customizer, and you get the following error message in the preview frame : “Non-existent changeset UUID”
    This problem usually occurs when there’s a mismatch between your actual website URL and the one saved in your WordPress general settings.

    To fix this problem : Navigate to Settings > General in the left panel and make sure your WordPress Address and your Site Address are exactly the same.

    Getting 5xx error in GSC is something you shouldn’t worry about. Google found these urls somehow (a ‘preview’ page was accidentally leaked, which Google tried crawling), found they don’t work, and so didn’t index them. Its not like it actually indexing them.

    As long as Google can access your normal website is fine. The only place you have to worry, perhaps have a page only linked by its ‘preview’ url (accidentally) and hence the real page can’t be got to, leaving it orphaned. In short, run the test to see if there’s any page which links to “preview” URL and fix them.

    I adjusted the video-sitemap in Rankmath according to the advice of Reinelle.
    However when I upload the sitemap in Google Search Console, it says that there are 103 failures:

    The sitemap can be read, but contains errors
    Thumbnail is missing.
    103 instances
    We’ve discovered that a reference to a thumbnail image in one of the URLs in your sitemap is missing or invalid. Verify that each URL contains a <video:thumbnail_loc> element that specifies a valid image URL.
    Examples
    Rule 53 Parent tag: url set
    Tags: url
    Rule 91 Parent tag: url set
    Tags: url
    Rule 103 Parent tag: url set
    Tags: url

    Setting in RankMath to activate thumbnail is ON.

    About the Non-existent changeset UUID: The WordPress Address and the Site Address are the same.

    We’ve checked your video sitemap and we can see that you have lots of Video Schema without the thumbnail URL and that’s why you’re facing this issue.

    We have the Autogenerate Image option but it only works when generating the Schema, but if you had that disabled while generating the Schema on the affected pages it won’t get added automatically: https://rankmath.com/kb/add-video-schema-to-existing-posts/#autogenerate-image

    In this case, in order to resolve this issue, you can open the pages without the thumbnail from your video sitemap and add a featured image on those pages.

    Regarding the non-existent changeset UUID, can you please confirm if you’re using any extra redirection plugin on your site? You can check the possible reasons of this issue from here: https://www.webfulcreations.com/how-to-fix-wordpress-non-existent-changeset-uuid/

    Hello, thank you again for your quick reply. The remarks that the videos are not in the Scheme Markup are not clear to me. I checked this with the pages Pools vertalen en Portugees vertalen and there is a Video Scheme Markup active.
    I can send you screenshots is that’s helpful. Or, is there something that I’am missing?

    Please note that Rank Math only generates the video sitemap when it finds the video schema markup on your pages. Currently, your video sitemap URLs don’t have thumbnails because the video schema on those pages doesn’t have them. In order to resolve this issue, either you can add the feature image on those pages or you’ll have to remove the current video schema so that Rank Math can generate the schema again with a thumbnail URL.

    However, we’ve checked your site and tried to delete the current video schema but it was not getting deleted because the following Rank Math Rest Routes are getting blocked by your Wordfence firewall:

    /wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta
    /wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateSchemas
    /wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateRedirection
    

    In order to resolve this issue, please try to whitelist these routes on the firewall: https://rankmath.com/kb/whitelist-rank-math-in-wordfence/

    Once done, you can delete the current video schema from those pages so that Rank Math can generate another video schema with a thumbnail URL. You can also use the Bulk Actions to set the Schema as default(The schema type you have selected in the Titles & Meta settings) https://rankmath.com/kb/bulk-editing-in-rank-math/#set-schema-markup-to-default-type

    It will remove all the current video schema from your posts and pages. After that, please head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > Generate Video Schema for Old Posts/Pages and click the Generate button to re-generate the Video Schema for your posts and pages:

    1. the pages with video have the video thumbnail already as an featured image
    2. if I delete the Schema on the problem pages and then create a new Schema, which should I choose: Article or Video? Or should/can I add two Schemas?

    1. We can confirm from our end that some of the posts have a thumbnail that is being shown on the sitemap. If Rank Math fails to include that featured image in the video schema in some of your posts, you would need to follow the steps my colleague presented previously.

    2. You can add both if it suits the current type of your content. It shouldn’t cause any issues. You can check the validity of your schema here: https://search.google.com/test/rich-results
