Issue with Yoast Import to RankMath

#1083040
  • Hi there,

I am having issues transferring to RankMath from Yoast.

After trying to import the data from Yoast to RankMath it hasn’t completely inserted all the data for me for whatever reason.

I also had the ‘Redirection’ plug-in, that I can’t even seem to view now with RankMath, even though I do see my Redirections in RankMath.

Is there anyone who can help me with this? I don’t want to have to go through each blog post and import all the data manually.

    Thanks,
    Melissa Laverty

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with importing data from Yoast to Rank Math. It seems like you might be using an older version of Rank Math, which could cause problems during the import process. We recommend updating to the latest version of Rank Math to ensure a smoother experience.

To import your redirects from Yoast SEO Premium, please follow these steps:

    1. Go to Rank Math SEO → Status & Tools → Import & Export in your WordPress admin area.
    2. Ensure that you are using the Advanced Mode in Rank Math, as the Import & Export tab may not be available otherwise.
    3. In the Other Plugins section, make sure that the Import Redirections option is selected and then click the Import button.

If you continue to experience issues after updating and following these steps, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent can assist you further.

Thank you for raising this concern, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve it!

    Hello,

In this case, please try reimporting the data again in Rank Math > Status & Tools > Import & Export > Other Plugins, then under the plugin column, uncheck the Calculate SEO Scores option below, and click the Import button.

    Calcu

There’s an issue with the Calculate SEO Scores option upon importing the Yoast data which might hinder the process.

However, if you want to recalculate the scores, then you can follow the steps in this link later on:

    Hi there,

    This still did not help.

What else can I do or can someone help me?
