Issue with Tutor LMS login pages

    Hi Team,

    I am using Tutor LMS along with Rankmath at one of my courses website. I am facing an issue where, in case of a login error the login error message doesn’t pop up. It just refreshes the page. I have been able to tie it down to an incompatibility with Rank Math Seo Suite. Once Rank math is activated the login error messages on the dashboard/login page don’t popup. It just comes back to the login page without any error message. Woo-Commerce Login and wp-admin don’t seem to be affected by the same. It is just the Tutor LMS login pages.

    The error messages work just fine when rank math is disabled.

    The customers get confused as they don’t know why they are not able to log in. I am not sure how rank math affects these login pages. Some other users are also facing the same issue.

    We are taking a look at this.

    In the meantime, you should also try contacting your theme provider and see if they are using a function that is conflicting with Rank Math.

    Hey Todd,

    I have already raised a support ticket with them and also mentioned the same on their wordpress support forum. I’ll keep you posted on their response / update.

    In case you guys find out why it affects only Tutor LMS login pages and not woocommerce or wp-admin it still would be great 🙂

    I think it was due to the firewall. I have increased threshold limits so that you can test easily.

    Hello,

    It looks like the LMS plugin is dynamically changing the excerpt content on the frontend which is causing problem. By default, Rank Math uses excerpt in SEO description and since LMS plugin is adding scripts and other data in excerpt it is breaking the layout.

    To fix the issue on your site, I editing the SEO description in Dashboard page. I changed it to %sitedesc%. This seemed to have fixed the issue.

    Hey Pratik,

    This worked. since this was an autogenerated page and didn’t have much SEO value I hadn’t added SEO description here. After adding Meta description on Dashboard Page, the error messages are coming up fine. Thank you so much for your assistance.
