Ok so it turns out having the Securi plugin enabled, despite having firewall turned off is causing the issue.
Disabling Securi seems to fix the issue.
Do you have any idea how I can make this compatible with Securi?

Hi I have contacted the host and this is their response:
“Unfortunately, we do not have a feature that will block access to those URLs.
As you can see, the URLs are publicly available e.g:
https://www.easymerchant.co.uk/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateRedirection
https://www.easymerchant.co.uk/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta”
Could you help any further?
My Securi firewall is set to off, host is not blocking either.
