Issue with Slug Changes caused by Rank Math

    Hi Rank Math Team

    I am experiencing a recurring issue on several websites where Rank Math SEO is active. The slugs of pages sometimes even main pages get changed automatically over time. They suddenly appear as page name 2 2 2 or page name 2 1 without any manual change. This breaks the permalink structure and causes major issues

    Important points
    • This behavior is not caused by WordPress itself
    • There is NO file image or page with the same name anywhere on the site
    • The issue occurs on about five different websites where Rank Math is used together with LiteSpeed Cache
    • On other websites using different SEO plugins this does not happen
    • The problem happens randomly without any visible trigger so it is not possible to record a Loom video. I never know when it will occur again

    Please let me know if this is a known issue and if a solution or workaround is available. It is causing ongoing disruption and unnecessary manual work.

    I have already seen multiple reports from other users describing the exact same problem. In every case the issue was dismissed by asking for a Loom video or blaming WordPress. I need a real solution to this problem. Otherwise I will be the next customer to leave Rank Math

    Is there any other way to investigate this issue without providing admin access to the backend?

    I’ve noticed that others seem to be experiencing the same problem.
    Is this a known bug?
