This usually means your sitemap is being cached on your end. To resolve this please exclude your sitemap URLs from being cached and clear your site cache then do the following:
1. Head over to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks
Hit the save button once.
2. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings
Hit the save button once.
That should fix the issue.
If it doesn’t, please do let us know so we can look at this further.
1. I cleared cache and also entered URL in non cache list : sitemap_index.xml
2. saved paarmalinks under setting.
3. saved Site map under settings but still
showing message under search console >>> site map :- ” sitemap_index.xml’ is not a sitemap index.”
and also site map not there for review.

Could you share the sitemap URL in the sensitive section so we can check it from our end. You can also validate your sitemaps here: https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/validate-xml-sitemap.html
To block some features of Rank math for some users, please enable the Role Manager in Rank math Dashboard then head to Rank math > Role manager and adjust settings for different level users.

And for role manager : it’s only for managing roles on one site, i am talking about how multi site admin can manage it for all sub site, if we wish to disable editing of robots.text and other tabs.
