    Rank Math free

    Hi,

I migrated my site over from organicdigital.co to daveashworth.co

I set up a RankMath account and conncted this, but whilst everything works, like schema and sitemaps etc, when I try to run the set up wizard I get a pop up that says:

No route was found matching the URL and request method.

    alert

What is the issue here and how do I resolve it?

I want to be sure everything is running ok with no issue

    Thanks
    Dave

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the Setup Wizard. The error message "No route was found matching the URL and request method" typically indicates a problem with the URL routing on your site, which can be caused by various factors such as permalink settings or conflicts with other plugins.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Permalink Settings: Go to WordPress Dashboard → Settings → Permalinks and simply click Save Changes without making any changes. This can refresh your permalink structure.

    2. Check for Plugin Conflicts: Temporarily deactivate other plugins to see if there is a conflict causing this issue. If the Setup Wizard works after deactivating a plugin, reactivate them one by one to identify the culprit.

    3. Theme Conflicts: Switch to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-One) to check if your current theme is causing the issue.

    4. Server Configuration: Ensure that your server configuration allows for URL rewriting. If you’re using Apache, make sure that the .htaccess file is correctly set up.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that we can assist you further. A human agent from our support team will take over and provide more specific guidance.

Thank you for raising this concern! We’re here to help you ensure everything is running smoothly.

    Hi,

Thanks for your guidance, it turns out it was the following plugin causing a conflict:

    WP Force Lowercase URLs

I don’t need that so have deactivated, deleted and now all working as expected.

    Thanks for your support
    Dave
