Issue with Schema for Events Calendar Plugin

    Hello,

We are switching from Yoast Premium + Schema Pro plugins to Rank Math. Everything works great, but there is one odd issue when dealing with Rank Math’s schema settings for Events (Events Calendar Pro plugin):

    Example 1:
We have an event from 11am until 11:45am on 22nd July.
    – In wp-admin (when Editing event), Rank Math’s Schema shows Start Date 2020-07-22 at 10AM and End Date 2020-07-22 at 10:45AM – so 1 hour off

    Example 2:
We have an All Day Event from 30th August (0 midnight) until 2nd September (11:59pm)
    – Rank Math’s Schema shows Start Date 2020-08-29 at 11PM and End Date 2020-09-02 at 10:59pm – once again 1 hour off which means the start date is showing as 29th August not 30th..

Our events use the London timezone (WP general settings). But Rank Math is showing UTC time? Which is UK time minus 1 hour.

But things are even worse when I view the actual source code. For *any* event I check (July, August, September, etc), Rank Math is showing MY current PC time (i.e. the time when I am checking the source code / writing this message) – not the event time.

So if I check the two example events above – it is showing me “startDate”:”2020-07-21T22:28-GMT+0100″,”endDate”:”2020-07-21T22:28″ for both (which is the current date/time where I am right now).

How can we fix it? I can see there are several other posts about similar issues – but cannot see the actual fix.

    Thank you!

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Rank math event time settings uses the timezone set for your site in WordPress dashboard> Settings > General > Timezone. If the settings are correctly set and the issue persists, Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

Please let us know if you find the culprit else we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
