    Hi,

First of all, sorry for my french english and thank’s for the work that you’ve already done about rank math, your extension is great.

I have problems with the recipe schema regarding the how to section and ingredients section

In Rank Math I fill the form in for Recipe and save the draft

    null
    null

When i analyse the code with google tools i have this :

    I have only one recipeIgredients
    null

And i have not the first how to section : Step 1 : blabla
    null

    Thank you,

    Nicolas

    Hi Nicolas,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

Please go through the settings of the Schema you setup. It is likely that you incorrect set it up.

If that doesn’t work, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

P.S: Make sure to provide link to the URL where you are seeing the issue.

I have the exact same problem and I can confirm I have correctly placed the ingredients, one per line, so I can confirm it is not a user error on Nicolas’s part. Google reads the ingredient (and step) rich snippet meta as one block of text instead of one line per hard return, resulting in a paragraph of ingredients which screen readers will totally butcher. As a result, we will lose our rich snippet rankings because of RankMath’s misconfiguration. Interestingly, anyone who uses JetEngine to create custom functions (or ACF) has a similar problem with the text fields removing white space. If RankMath uses one of these tools, better check your configuration before calling out your customers for incorrect configuration.

    Hi Alexandra,

    Thanks for the reply.

We have not been able to replicate this on our test environments. Would you be kind enough to open a new support ticket and share some access to a dev/staging area where we can test this use case and advise further?

You would need to edit the first post on the new ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
