Issue with meta pagination and canonical

I want to paginate my news page using canonical links. For now I can only set the page https://yourdomain.com/blog/page/2 would have a canonical of https://yourdomain.com/blog. but I want to change the page https://yourdomain.com/blog/page/2 would have a canonical of https://yourdomain.com/blog/page/2. Please let me know how we can do that.

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

We add a self-referencing canonical to all the pagination pages if you have them set to be indexed and they are returning true for the following function is_paged(). Could you please share the actual URL so we can check as well? You can add it in the sensitive data section

It is completely secure, and only our support staff has access to that section.
