Issue with Meta Description in Yoast SEO | Wrong stats

    I am writing to report an issue I encountered with the Rank Math SEO plugin. Specifically, I noticed a problem with the Meta Description feature.

    When I added a description and checked the focus keyword in the SEO Meta Description field, the green tick appeared, indicating that everything was correct. However, when I clicked on update/save, the description disappeared, and the green tick was replaced by a cross, causing my overall SEO score to decrease.

    Even when I clicked on the ‘edit snippet’ button to re-add the description, it displayed the correct text in the box that popped up, but I had to re-type it to make it visible and affect my SEO score.

    This issue is causing me some inconvenience. Please investigate and provide a solution.
