    Hello,

My most recent blog post has not been indexed and I am unsure why. I can see in the index status section of rankmath in wordpress that all my other posts have been indexed.

    Can you help with this?

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with your blog post not being indexed. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Check if the URL is Indexed: Make sure that your blog post URL is not indexed by searching for it directly in Google. You can do this by entering the URL in the Google search bar. If it appears in the results, it is indexed.

    2. Noindex Attribute: Ensure that your post does not have a noindex attribute set. This can prevent search engines from indexing your content.

    3. Robots.txt File: Check your robots.txt file to ensure that it allows search engines to crawl your site.

    4. Crawled but Not Indexed: If your post is crawled but not indexed, it may take some time for Google to index it. This can happen due to various factors, including the quality of content and your site’s domain authority.

    5. Instant Indexing: If you want to expedite the indexing process, you can use Rank Math’s Instant Indexing feature. To do this, enable the Instant Indexing module in your WordPress dashboard under Rank Math SEO settings, then submit your post for indexing.

      Instant Indexing Module

After enabling it, hover over your post on the Posts page and select the Instant Indexing: Submit Page option.

    6. Manual Indexing Request: If none of the above works, consider submitting a manual indexing request through Google Search Console.
