Issue with breadcrumbs widget

    Hey, I’m building a website for a client and trying to insert breadcrumbs on certain pages with RankMath and Elementor Pro but I’m having a couple issues.

    1. There is no breadcrumbs widget in Elementor (yes, Pro is enabled – I double checked)

    2. Under RankMath General Settings –> it’s showing I can’t toggle breadcrumbs on because my theme (Astra) has already enabled them. This is what it says:

    This option cannot be changed since your theme has added the support for Rank Math Breadcrumbs using:
    add_theme_support( ‘rank-math-breadcrumbs’ );

    Could this be the issue? If so, how do I resolve it so I can use the Elementor/RankMath widget?

    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the inconvenience caused.

    Astra has added support for our Breadcrumbs and that’s why you can’t disable the breadcrumbs option of our plugin. The breadcrumbs are already enabled and are to be handled by the theme.

    Please go to WordPress Dashboard > Themes > Customize > Breadcrumbs and choose Rank Math for the Breadcrumb Source option.

    And the Breadcrumbs widget is part of Rank Math PRO. Since you are using the Free version, it will not be available in Elementor.

    Oh gotcha, I thought it was an Elementor Pro widget. Ok, I’ll talk to them about purchasing RankMath pro. Thank you.
