issue creating a Google API Project

    Hi,

    in your blog “How to Create a Google API Project For Connecting Search Console“, step 14 (Create Credentials -> OAuth Client ID -> Other), I read:
    “On the screen that appears, choose the Other option in the application type, as it does not fit in any of the other categories. Also, give it a suitable name, and then click Create.”

    However I do not see this option. Here is what I see:
    Web application
    Android
    Chrome app
    iOS
    TVs and Limited Input devices
    Desktop app
    Universal Windows Platform

    Kindly advise how to proceed (and update the KB too:))

    Recently Google changed the name of the “Other” option, right now you should check the Desktop App option (even when it is not a desktop app), as you can read here: https://stackoverflow.com/a/62529056
