    Why does the API drop off? It is not a Firewall issue. I feel like the only way for it to read properly is to keep this window or account open and then do anything manually. The automated anything never works. I am at the tail end because I feel like I have a false sense of security only to realize that nothing gets indexed. I feel like this plug in is dointg tphe opposite of what should be done SEO wise. Thats in theory if it worked. Why would I p[ay for your platform over something like SEM Rush which i am about to try quite frankly because this is hard and its because days go by and nothing seems to happen. I dont trust it right now.

    where should this go:

    API Key Location

    Use the Check Key button to verify that the key is accessible for search engines. Clicking on it should open the key file in your browser and show the API key.

    It goes to the homepage and not to some tx file.

    Does this work? I dont think it works.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

    The API key text file has failed to generate so you’ll have to manually create one for the IndexNow API to work. Here’s a guide you can follow: https://rankmath.com/kb/fix-403-forbidden-error-indexnow/#add-txt-file-manually
