    Rank Math free

    Hi dear,

I’m have been using Rankmath for almost 6 months.
There is a problem with google search results:
Currency for my pages in google search results are shown as ¤ and with 2 decimals. Example : https://snipboard.io/s06C4S.jpg for https://shorturl.at/O1SbY
I checked rich snippets and it’s all looking good without any error.

Result should be 3,800,000 IRR (without decimals and correct currency), but is not.

Also checked some other sites using rankmath and the problem is still there.

I appreciate any support you can provide on this.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the currency display in Google search results. It seems that the currency formatting is not being recognized correctly, which can sometimes happen due to various reasons.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check Schema Markup: Ensure that the Schema Markup for your currency is correctly configured. You can use Google’s Rich Results Testing Tool to verify that your markup is set up properly.

    2. Configure Currency Format: Make sure that you are using the correct currency format in your Schema settings. For IRR (Iranian Rial), it should be specified correctly in the relevant fields.

    3. Re-indexing: After making any changes, it may take some time for Google to re-index your pages. You can check if your pages are indexed using Google Search Console.

    4. Quality Issues: Sometimes, quality-related issues on your site can affect how Google displays rich snippets. Ensure that your content is well-written and adheres to Google’s quality guidelines.

    5. Patience: Even after correcting the markup, it may take some time for Google to reflect these changes in search results.

If you have checked all of these and the issue persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention, and we hope to resolve it soon!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We checked your page and we can also confirm Rank Math has added the correct price and currency in the product schema:

Also, you can see in Google’s Rich Results Test tool is showing the correct price and currency for Result 1:

But Result 2 shows that same currency symbol.

After checking your page further, we noticed you’re using تومان as the currency symbol in WooCommerce:

In this case, we suggest you follow this guideline and change the currency symbol to IRR in WooCommerce: https://woocommerce.com/document/change-a-currency-symbol/

Once done, please allow Google some time to recrawl your page and see if that updates the information on SERPs.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

All you said above are correct but result is: https://snipboard.io/rtjXgo.jpg
I’ll try changing currency symbol from تومان to IRRfor a while and check if this works.

    Hello,

Sure, let us know how this goes.

Meanwhile, if you have any other concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime so we can assist you further.
