Internal Server Error

    I have activated the rank math plugin and completed the setup wizard option and after that, I move to the general settings but whenever I try to save any setting mode on the general setting tab it gives an “Internal Server Error” whenever I try to save any changes.

    My website is working fine, other plugins are working fine and all other rank math settings ( Title & Meta, Sitemap, Instant Indexing ) are also working fine but only the General Settings tab is giving an “Internal Server Error” whenever I try to save any changes.

    “Internal Server Error” is usually caused due to server misconfiguration or other server issues.

    Could you please get in touch with your web host and ensure that the ModSecurity is disabled or they are not blocking any process of the plugin?

    Disabling ModSecurity should fix the issue.

    If the issue persists, please share the error log with us:

    Having the error log file will give a clear idea of why this might be happening.

    Hi Sharmin,

    I had the same problem as Naushaba.
    However, Disabling ModSecurity is not an option for security reasons.
    How we can configure the plugin to work with Rank Math?

    @Camila Apologies for any inconvenience about this issue.

    In this case, please try whitelisting these Rank Math routes for troubleshooting:

    /wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta
    /wp-json/rankmath/v1/saveModule

    You can get in touch with your web host for assistance with that.

    If the issue still persists, please check if this is caused by a conflicting plugin/theme on your site by following the steps in this link:
