Internal Link Suggestions

    Hi,
    I have published so many posts and updated a number of posts but the internal linking suggestions tab is not working in any case.
    Even after adding a category to the post and inserting various links manually into the post. I tried on a various different posts.
    Nothing is working. It always says:
    “We can’t show any link suggestions for this post. Try selecting categories and tags for this post, and mark other posts as Pillar Content to make them show up here.”

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Rank Math will show as link suggestions any other pillar posts in the same category, so before getting any link suggestions, you will need to set some posts as pillar posts.

    So this means it will only show internal links in the post from the same pillar category and not elsewhere? right?
    if this is the thing. Then rankmath is lacking here.

    Hi,

    Yes, it shows relevant link suggestion of the pillar posts also posted in the same category as the current post you are writing. It also needs to be relevant to your current post title or focus keyword based on your selection at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Posts:
