Internal 500 error

    Hello I just installed this plugin and when I go to update any settings I keep getting an internal 500 error. I’m not sure what the issue is or how to fix it. I tried deleting the plugin and adding it back but the error still occurs whenever I try to update a setting.

    Can you please help? I’m new to WordPress and Rank Math

    500 errors are usually caused due to server misconfiguration or other server issues.

    Having the error log file will give a clear idea of why this might be happening.

    You can follow this guide to enable debug mode in WordPress to get the error log

    Or you can ask your web host and they should be able to help you locate the log files.

    Please also ask if your website’s PHP values are not too low to handle the processes. Here’s a list of recommended PHP values for your reference:

    PHP Memory Limit: 512M
    Max input time: 150
    PHP time limit: 120
    PHP max input variables: 1000

    Hello, I just had my web host support walk me through adding these settings, which I did and I am still getting an internal error message telling me to contact my webmaster of my site like below:

    Internal Server Error
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator at w********@s*********************** to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    You may ask for the logs from your hosting provider.

    I think they are looking at the server logs now and have identified some things. If they can’t get it worked out I will send them over
