I have followed already these instructions and automatic indexing is disabled for both blog post publication and editing.
Tried now again and I get a 429 Error
I even disabled all the cache and image optimisation plugins.

Please confirm if your site is hosted on a shared IP hosting. The 429 response comes from the IndexNow API and has nothing to do with our plugin. It is a common issue with websites hosted on shared hosting. You can confirm that by using the official plugin of Bing for IndexNow: https://wordpress.org/plugins/indexnow/
The official plugin will also return the same response code. There is nothing we can do from our end to fix this.

Yes, is a shared hosting but I’m wondering why this problem is affecting the site only now.
So far was working smoothly.
Checked the official plugin and yes, doesn’t work.

The 429 error indicates that too many individuals sharing the same IP address are attempting to access the API. Since you’re on shared hosting, other websites on the same shared hosting plan will also be using the same IP address. If all these websites are trying to access the IndexNow API simultaneously, it could lead to the 429 error.
We recommend that you switch to a hosting plan that provides a dedicated IP, or you can try accessing the API at different times when there is less traffic from other users sharing the same IP.
