Hi,
I noticed during a test install that RankMath will fix a new account in Webmaster Tools when I worked through the settings. Now, I plan to install RankMath on a staging site with a different domain to where the plugin will run at last. The plan is that when the whole setup is ready with titles, meta, and so on, the whole site will be migrated to the real domain, where it shall run.
But then I wonder if that’s a bad way to add RankMath to a website. The risk is obvious that Google will not treat the site properly. Maybe they will recognize it as a duplicate, or some other odd errors. Because the active site will have a different domain to the one where RankMath was installed.
I will migrate the site with Installatron which corrects all links. But I am not sure what it will mean for RankMath and Google Webmaster Tools.
