I see that Rankmath keeps redirecting all my product links automatically.
I went to the http.access file but couldn’t find any redirect code.
I can’t understand what the problem is.Can you help me?
Thanks so much

sorry, in the end I found the problem probably. I entered the .htaccess and I think I have blocked the rule.
In case the redirects don’t crash I will ask you again for help but it should be fixed.
Thanks

Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
Unfortunately the problem was not solved. I went to the .htaccess file in the public html folder to disable the redirect rule but the problem was not solved.
Rankmath keeps redirecting some links to the same link. For example this link https://vaporbros.net/producto/valkyries-bounty-50-ml/ has been redirect to the same link https://vaporbros.net/producto/valkyries-bounty-50-ml/.
I don’t know why this happens. Can you help me?
ThanksHello,
I’ve checked the product link you have shared, but it seems to be opening fine without redirecting to itself.
Could you please try clearing your website and browser’s cache and see if the issue still persists?
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Thanks for reply.
I have now cleared the browser caches and let’s see.
I wait for tomorrow and see if the situation has stopped.
Google search Console keeps giving me the error “Sitemap can be read, but has errors. Sitemap is HTML” in some links and I think it’s the fault of these redirects. I checked the Rankmath sitemap and it’s in XML so I think it’s the redirect’s fault.Thank you so much
Hello,
I checked the sitemap, all the variations of the sitemap are returning 200 status, you can check using https://httpstatus.io/:
Please ensure that only 1 version of the sitemap is working (200 status), and the rest are redirecting to it.
Please follow the steps in this link:
https://rankmath.com/kb/couldnt-fetch-error-google-search-console/#5-check-for-the-correct-version-of-the-sitemap and redirect to the correct version. Then, exclude the sitemaps from caching by following this guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/Once done, clear the website cache and resubmit the
sitemap_index.xml
in the Search Console.Looking forward to helping you.
OK thanks,
I have a different plugin than the examples and I contacted their support to understand how to do it.
ThanksHello,
Glad that helped.
Let us know how this goes or if you still need assistance with this issue.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
I asked my plugin service and they told me it’s not their fault because their program doesn’t minimize sitemap and don’t touch caches. They checked the sitemap and saw nothing out of the ordinary.
So I still can’t understand why Rankmath keeps redirecting links.
I clean the caches from my hosting but even there I have disabled the redirect rule.
I just can’t understandHello,
It seems that you are using the Rank Math Redirections module to add the trailing slash to your products and for that use case we recommend a general rule in your server configuration file.
Here’s an article to goes over this situation in detail: https://www.danielmorell.com/guides/htaccess-seo/redirects/https-www-and-trailing-slash
This is a better way to achieve this type of URL because you essentially concentrate all that in a single rule that can be easily switched on or off.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
I have read the article and the rules in the htaccess file seem to be the same.
Personally, I don’t really know much about programming so I would like to avoid touching on something I don’t know.
If you don’t know, give me another solution, I’ll look elsewhere.
ThanksHello,
You can get in touch with your web host as they are in a better position to help you with this kind of redirect to be applied to your site.
Once done, you can check again your sitemap versions using the tool that my colleague mentioned above.
I hope that helps.
Thank you.
