Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for the unexpected delays and any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
The API key txt file is missing in your site’s web directory.
Can you please click on the “Change Key” button and see if this works? If the txt file is still missing, you may need to manually add it via FTP or your CPanel’s File Manager. Please go ahead and create the file with your API key as your file name and the contents should be your API key as well.

That doesn’t work, so I will need to manually create it. Why does this happen though? Is it a permissions issue?
