Indexing Issue caused by RM Plugin?

    Hey guys,

    something really weird happened to my site since using rank math and its sitemap generator.

    I am not yet sure if its caused by the plugin but I simply cannot find another answer for my problem, maybe you can help me out?

    I noticed that several of my pages are not ranking anymore. After some time I looked deeper into it and checked GSC and sitemap, (see screenvideo in the data section).

    The sitemap itself looks fine no? Even the number of my URLs is correct. However, it seems that Google cannot properly read it. Normally the three sitemaps would show under the index right? (see screenshot in data section)

    I really don’t know what to do as I don’t find any technical issue…

    Thank you so much for getting in touch.

    The sitemap looks fine and unless a post is not indexed for more than a week – it is doing its job correctly as well.

    Moreover, a sitemap helps with indexing quicker but not having one or having a faulty one does not impact your rankings. So, we can rule out that the drop was due to sitemap.

    It is possible that something else caused the drop.

    Do you have a few keywords that saw the drop so we can check?
