    Hello,

This is common with websites on a shared hosting server, so you can get in touch with your hosting provider to clarify this issue.

Here’s a link for more information:

Also, please note that if you have automatic submissions set for any post type, each time you save an edit to a post inside that post type it will trigger a submission.

This might cause a high number of submissions if you are constantly making changes and saving them. If they are checked/enabled, then disable them.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

The 429 error indicates that too many websites sharing the same IP address are attempting to access the API.

The 429 response comes from the IndexNow API and has nothing to do with our plugin. You can confirm that by using the official plugin of Bing for IndexNow: https://wordpress.org/plugins/indexnow/

The official plugin will also return the same response code. There is nothing we can do from our end to fix this. Let us know if the official plugin works.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Sorry for that, we inserted that last memo to contact us if you have further confirmation about the topic. We added that part to almost all of our KB guides.

We have clarified that this error is coming from the official API of IndexNow, meaning, the quota has exhausted due to your website’s IP is probably in the same shared server with other websites that are also using the IndexNow API.

Something like this is out of our control because our plugin is only the medium between your website and IndexNow. You can test this out by installing the plugin we mentioned here and the same 429 error will show (let us know if not and we’ll investigate further).

To resolve this issue, you will have to move your website to a dedicated server where no other websites are sharing the same IP.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any other questions.
