    Hi Good Day,

I am using Rank Math for last some days. Before I was using SeoPress Pro version. My sitemaps were fine that time. While I migrated from seopress to rank math I submitted the new sitemaps to google with no error. Here are 13 posts site maps. And one 1 page site map and one category. My new posts are coming on post-sitemap1. New posts links are available on sitemap. But google is saying
Indexed, not submitted in sitemap . Another hand, Pages sitemap is ok. I tried to exclude urls of sitemap on litespeed cache. No benefit.

Still google is saying “Indexed, not submitted in sitemap” for my posts. But pages are indexed and submitted.

I included screenshot urls and my sitemap url below and my site Url is https://samprotik.com.bd . Thanks

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Could you please do the following:

    1. Head over to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks

    Hit the save button once.

    2. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings

    Hit the save button once.

Once done, delete the re-submit the sitemap_index.xml in Google Search Console and wait for Google to crawl the sitemap.

    That should fix the issue.

If it doesn’t, please do let us know so we can look at this further.

Thanks for the reply. If I have 12 posts sitemaps. In which sitemap my new posts should come? Sitemap 1 or Sitemap 12?

Because I discovered that my new posts are coming on sitemap 9 rather than sitemap 1 on another site with another Seo plugin.

    Hello,

If you are using Rank Math, the latest posts should appear in the post sitemap 1.

I hope this helps. Looking forward to helping you.

Hi as you said. Saved wp permalink. Then saved Rank math sitemap. And then deleted old from google and submitted new one again. Still google is saying
Coverage Indexed, not submitted in sitemap .

    Hello,

It takes some time for Google to crawl your sitemap completely.

You do not have to worry about this as the URLs will still be indexed and this would not affect your rankings.

I hope this helps. Looking forward to helping you.

Hi Good Day, Google completed craweling but still my new and old posts are slowing indexed not submitted in sitemap. These url’s can be found on sitemap. Pages and Category sitemaps are indexed and submitted. ONLY the issue is with posts.

    Regards

    Hello,

Thank you for the update, and sorry for the delay.

I’ve checked your post-sitemaps, and it seems that it contains 10,000 URLs in a single sitemap. Please see the attached screenshot in the designated sensitive data section.

Though Google allows maximum 50,000 URLs in a single Sitemap, we do not recommend using that many URLs. It will not only make your Sitemap slower but might also affect the crawling of your website.

In this case, you may need to lower your links per sitemap because the smaller the Sitemap, the faster they are to crawl.

I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance.

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Before It was 1000 links per sitemap. That time also same thing happend. And then I increased it to 10K, while support representive said to resubmit(conversation above).

I think that is not the thing. Because, even if it’s 500 links per page also. Google is saying not submitted on sitemap. But for categories and pages they are fine. I am In a fix what to do because Google is crawling too late as links are not in sitemap.

If any point you can find out please sir let me know.

    Thanks

    Hello,

We have covered the reasons for this happening here: https://rankmath.com/kb/indexed-not-submitted-in-sitemap/

In 99% cases, you just need to wait.

If you are not seeing any URls in the sitemap by opening the sitemap in your browser, please share that URL so we can check why it isn’t part of the sitemap.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.
