Indexed but blocked by robots.txt

    Hi my search console is giving this error message: Indexed but blocked by robots.txt for the link to my homepage – https://www.tracheostomyeducation.com which I want indexed on google. How do I go about this error?

    I am not a programmer and I tried looking at the other support tickets but it looked like different issues for different people.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    It seems you have in your robots.txt file a line with a configuration issue, the one like this:
    Disallow:

    It could be being understood by Google as you don’t want to index your site.

    You should go to the WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math plugin > General Settings > Edit robots.txt and replace the text with the following one (changing the mywebsite.com domain with your own):

    User-Agent: *
Disallow: /wp-admin/
Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
Sitemap: http://mywebsite.com/sitemap_index.xml
