  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the Index Status showing no data. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this problem:

    1. Ensure Index Status Tab is Enabled: Make sure that you have enabled the Index Status tab in Rank Math. You can do this by navigating to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Analytics and ensuring that the option "Enable the Index Status tab" is toggled on. If it is grayed out, try switching to a Chromium-based browser like Google Chrome.
      Enable the Index Status tab

    2. Wait for Data Fetch: After enabling the Index Status tab, it may take some time for Rank Math to fetch the data from Google. The initial data fetch can take up to an hour, and subsequent updates will depend on your plan (every 7 days for Free users and every 3 days for PRO users).

    3. Check Google Search Console: Since you mentioned that your pages are shown live in Google Search Console, ensure there are no errors reported there that might affect indexing.

    4. Monitor Your Site’s Indexation Status: You can also use the Index Status report in Rank Math’s Analytics to identify any pages with issues. Navigate to Rank Math SEO → Analytics and click on the Index Status tab to see if there are any problems listed.

If you have followed these steps and still see no data, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!

Yes all of these have been made and still no data shown

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us. We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

The Index Status tab only works with URL-prefix properties in Google Search Console. These properties have your website’s full URL, including the protocol (HTTP or HTTPS) and the subdomain (www or non-www). For example, https://www.example.com is a URL-prefix property.

Domain properties are the ones that only have the domain name of your website, without the protocol or the subdomain. For example, example.com is a domain property. Rank Math has limited support for domain properties and cannot display the Index Status data for them.

To fix this issue, you need to make sure that you have connected a URL-prefix property to Rank Math. You can do this by following these steps:

    • Go to your Google Search Console dashboard and click on Add Property.
    • Choose URL-prefix and enter the full URL of your website. Make sure it matches the one in your WordPress settings.
    • Verify your ownership of the property using any of the methods provided by Google. Rank Math can help you verify the property, follow this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/
    • Navigate to Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and Click on Disconnect and then Connect again to reconnect your Google account
    • Select the URL-prefix property that you just added and click on Save Changes.
    • More instructions are here: https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/

You should now be able to see the Index Status tab in Rank Math and view your website’s indexing data.

We hope this helps you fix the issue. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please let us know. We’re always happy to help.

    Thank you
