Index/Noindex changing all the time on its own

    Hello. I receive notifications almost daily from Yandex and other website monitoring tools that my webpages are changing from Index to Noindex then Noindex to Index on their own. Why does this keep happening? The webpage that changes the most is my homepage/Domain URL ( https://collectiblesandmoreinstore.com ). This is concerning because every time it changes to Noindex they remove my store from search engines.

    I’ve reported this before. Based on previous times, I’ve added the code snippet for making sure my sitemaps are working properly and I’ve cleared all caches. How can this issue be prevented from happening? Your assistance is appreciated.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math support. We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your web pages changing from index to noindex and vice versa. This is very unusual and we’re happy to help troubleshoot this with you.

    Rank Math cannot set your page as Index or Noindex on its own unless you have instructed it to do so – either through the Rank Math settings or through filters, and even then, it wouldn’t fluctuate.

    There are only two possible explanations for this – it’s either that Yandex is reading your web pages wrong, or some plugin or theme is conflicting with Rank Math, i.e. the tool keeps setting your web page as noindex and Rank Math keeps setting it back to index again and again.

    To investigate this, please follow these steps:

    1. Wait for another email from Yandex detecting your homepage has changed to noindex.
    2. Visit this URL to view your website source code: view-source:https://collectiblesandmoreinstore.com/
    3. Search for name="robots" and see what value it has. If it is still set as index, then Yandex is reading your page wrong and you can ignore the emails or reach out to them.
    4. If the robots tag is set to noindex, then you need to check for plugin or theme conflicts, i.e. deactivate all your plugins and activate a WordPress default theme, then clear your cache and see if the page is still showing as noindex with only Rank Math installed.
