The pre-publish checklist plugin does not work with Rank Math SEO Plugin. https://wordpress.org/plugins/publishpress-checklists/
Doesn’t allow to save new or earlier drafted posts. Only allows saving if it is an already published post.

Seems to be some conflict with gutenberg.js present in Rank Math. Checklist plugin is powerful and necessary for multi-author blogs. I have uninstalled the plugin for the time being for publishing to work and have also written to the PublishPress. It would be great if the conflict could be resolved.

Hi Gaurav,

It seems like you are using the standalone Gutenberg plugin. Can you please switch to the in-built block editor of WP 5.0+? That will fix the issue immediately.

If you don’t want to switch, please wait for an update that will fix this issue.

Please do note that the update might take a while since this is a tricky issue and requires some of the code to be re-written. Rest assured that you can turn off the Gutenberg plugin because apart from containing additional experimental features – it has nothing that the inbuilt Block editor of WP 5.0 doesn’t have.

If not, please try and contact the developers of PublishPres plugin and see if they are open to making changes to their plugin to make it compatible with Rank Math. We are willing to work with them if there is a change needed in the Rank Math plugin.

Hey Todd,

I am using WP 5.3.2 with native Block editor. Gutenberg plugin is not installed.

I have already notified the plugin devs of the bug and they have acknowledged that they would look into the same. I’ll pass on the contact info also to them.
