improving my article content and ultimately page ranking

So on my website (www.barkleyandpaws.com) I used to rank for a good number of keywords (maybe 100 or more). Once Google updated in March of this year I lost all my page ranking except for a handful of articles. I suspect some (or even most) may be due to thin or old content since I had not been actively updating the site.

Is there a way to use RankMath (or the Pro version) to find the content that Google sees as bad and either remove it or update it so I can start to restore my ranking?

    Thank you!

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.

It’s not usually possible to use any plugin or service to pinpoint the exact post/page/reason why your website isn’t ranking as before – but we have a comprehensive guide to monitor Google algorithm updates and how to recover from one when you’re hit.

If it is a manual action that was taken against your site, Google will usually share the reasons with you via your Google Search Console – but for other cases, the best way to know is from your GSC page indexing report. Pages classified as “Discovered – Currently Not Indexed” and “Crawled – Currently Not Indexed” are usually your best guess.

We hope this helps clarify the issue. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

    Hello,
