Importing Custom Meta Titles and Descriptions via WP All Import

    Hello Rank Math Team,

I’m currently using WP All Import to import products into WooCommerce.
For each product, I already have custom meta titles and meta descriptions that I would like to import directly into Rank Math’s SEO fields.

With Yoast SEO, this was possible by importing values into the meta keys like _yoast_wpseo_title and _yoast_wpseo_metadesc.

Could you please confirm if Rank Math supports a similar method — for example, using a slug/meta key (such as _rank_math_title and _rank_math_description) — to import these values automatically during the import process?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Best regards,
    Patrick Bek

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing. Yes, Rank Math does support importing custom meta titles and descriptions using WP All Import. You can use the following meta keys to import your values directly into Rank Math’s SEO fields:

    • For the SEO Title, use _rank_math_title
    • For the SEO Description, use _rank_math_description

This way, when you set up your import in WP All Import, you can map your custom fields to these meta keys, and Rank Math will automatically populate the SEO title and description for each product during the import process.

Thank you for raising this concern! If you have any further questions or need assistance with the setup, feel free to reply to this ticket, and a human agent from our team will assist you further.

    Hello Rank Math Team,

thank you for your previous reply — I successfully imported my custom meta titles and descriptions via WP All Import using the meta keys _rank_math_title and _rank_math_description.

The data seems to import correctly, but I cannot see the meta title or meta description under the **product → general → SEO section** in the WordPress backend.

Could you please clarify why these imported fields are not visible there?
Do they only appear inside the Rank Math SEO box, or should they also show up under the product’s general information tab?

Thanks a lot for your help!

    Best regards,

    Hello,

Yes, the imported metadata only appears in the Rank Math meta box since they are stored in Rank Math’s database.

    Looking forward to helping you.
