Unfortunately, you can’t directly control the images that will appear on the SERP.
Please note that we don’t have any control over how images in the SERP results are displayed, and search engines display them as per their will and it mostly depends on the keyword search term and the website authority.
In this case, you can try to add relevant ALT text to the images/featured image on your homepage, and chances are search engines will refer to it.

As my colleague mentioned above that, it depends on Google and there is no way we can control the images shown in search results. The Google Search algorithms select the images as it believes that it is something that would benefit the users.
