Images Set to Index by Default and How can I add images sitemap to xml link

    Hi,

    I checked individual image Rankmath SEO and found that the “No Index” option is selected. see this link for a screenshot. since this ticket does not allow attachments. https://imgur.com/a/Gm8THxQ

    I went through each image and enabled the index option. How can I set it to Index by default when I upload the image? I am honestly sad to learn that all the images are not indexed by Google. My content is not too great, Only thing that is valuable is the images and graphics and those are not being set to index.

    Also, the sitemap also does not have links for images. It has pages, posts, attachments, etc but NOT IMAGES: https://zabiniazi.com/sitemap_index.xml

    Any assistance to enable the Default image index would be highly appreciated.And how can I add the links to sitemap?

    Thanks for contacting us, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that. We deeply apologize for the delay in response.

    We have removed the option of adding the SEO Meta Box to the attachment pages.

    Most likely the SEO Meta Box was already enabled for the Attachment pages of the website when we removed the option. Thus, it’s still being shown for your site, but if the SEO Meta Box was disabled or the website was created after we removed the option, it would remain hidden.

    This is because we’ve not modified the database values, we have just removed the option.

    However, you may simply set index to all of your media attachments from Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Attachments > Media Robots Meta.
