If so, it looks like this has something to do with your images being set as pop-ups. It takes the links as the source of the popup in order to make the images visible.
As for the images linking to the media file, It might be set up that way to make the images pop up on your website. It also looks like the pop-ups are coming from Elementor: https://elementor.com/help/lightbox/

Upon further inspection, it looks like Optimize Press is the one assigned to this functionality: https://prnt.sc/WetIRR1jPYDO
I’ve tried to access Optimize Press’s Dashboard but it seems to be broken at the moment since none of the buttons seem to work. As well as no options appearing.
Rank Math does not have any functionalities that add links to your images as well as make them pop up.
And just to be sure, I’ve deactivated Rank Math temporarily as a test and the issue still persists. I reactivated Rank Math again before leaving the site.
